The cruise on this North West Tasmania river, takes you 14kms along the Arthur River. Traveling upstream to the Arthur and Frankland river junction before returning to Warra Landing for a gourmet lunch.
Arthur River is one of the last truly “wild rivers” of Australia. This Tarkine area of North West Tasmania is a recognised wilderness area of world value. This area is a very rain forest with myrtles, sassafras, celery-top pine, laurels, blackwoods, and giant tree ferns. When visiting Tasmania make it a thing to do on your list as this cruise is an unforgettable experience.
As you cruise Arthur River upstream on board “M.V. Reflections” this lush greenery of Tasmania is reflected in the still tea-coloured waters. High above the river bank White-bellied Sea-eagles are perched in the trees with commanding views of the river and the Tarkine Wilderness. At times an abundance of bird life can be heard and seen in this part of Tasmania. You can catch a glimpse of Azure Kingfishers with their distinct brilliant blue and orange colouring. There has also been the occasional sighting of platypus in their own habitat.
While your visiting why not spend a night or more exploring the Arthur River Township, Edge of the World lookout and beaches in the Tarkine wilderness.
On arrival at Warra Landing you disembark and will be taken on an informative guided enjoying the most intimate rainforest experience. On return whilst still in the peaceful surrounds of the Tasmanian rainforest you will enjoy a Gourmet BBQ Lunch with Cape Grim prime scotch fillet, award winning lamb sausage, jacket potato, home made salads, fresh bread roll, wines, juice, and hot drinks. The vessel “AR Reflections” is a 35ft tri-hull fly bridge cruiser. It is quiet and has coach seating for a comfortable cruise. Toilet is located on ground deck with level access. The vessel also has a full flybridge deck providing maximum 360 degrees viewing and for taking great photo shots of the North West Tasmanian Wilderness. Most days are cool up river and in the rainforest so suitable warm clothing should be worn and suitable footwear to be worn also. All food and beverages are provided on this Tasmanian River Cruise.

We do NOT cruise on a Monday.
Cost for this Cruise is $160 per adult. $155 if you have a seniors card children age 13-17 $90 not suitable for children 12 and under.
Departing Arthur River township at 9:30am, returning at 2:30pm.
Boarding is from 9:15am.
Our minimum cruise number is 6 adult passengers.
Please ask us for advice if you have mobility issues as the cruise may not be suitable.
Bookings are essential due to catering requirements.
This cruise runs Tuesday to Sunday with bookings and can be cancelled due to weather at the discretion of the skipper.

Morning tea: Shared charcuterie board (all tassie produce) and bubbles/juice.
Lunch at Warra landing : Cape Grim scotch fillet, award winning Tasmanian gourmet lamb sausage, home made salads, jacket potato with sour cream followed by homemade cake.
There is bottled wine, bubbles, juice, water and hot drinks with lunch.
This cruise includes a White Breasted sea eagle feeding, viewing of their 50 year old nest site, extensive commentary and a guided walk with our crew.
You will also have prime viewing of the River and all it has to offer.
